Memorable photographs have the ability to increase the visual impact of the information you wish to communicate. These photographs serve as valuable evidence of field epidemiology training program (FETP) activities and can help:
To this end, TEPHINET will host a photo contest during the conference to help promote FETP activities in a visually compelling way.PurposeTo highlight the work of FETPs globally and to encourage the FETP family to visually document their contributions to improving global health through disease prevention, detection and rapid response activities.Eligible ParticipantsFETP trainees and graduates whose abstracts were accepted for presentation at the conference are eligible to submit photographs for the contest. TEPHINET will send these individuals the complete contest procedures and submission criteria.
Exhibition of PhotosTEPHINET will review all submissions. Photos meeting the review committee's standards will be exhibited during the conference and also will be available to view online.
Selection CriteriaWinners will be selected by a panel of judges identified by TEPHINET. Photographs will be judged on their technical and artistic merits as well as their ability to convey field epidemiology in action. TEPHINET will also post the photos to our Facebook page for a vote by our fans.
